Which supplements are you taking to boost your immune system right now?
Boost your exercise and immune system with Trojan supplements!
Raise your hand if you don’t want a healthy immune system! No one? Of course, it’s like asking people to raise their hands if they don’t want to be a billionaire… Our immune systems consist of a complex collection of cells, processes, and chemicals that constantly defends our bodies against invading pathogens, including viruses, toxins, and bacteria. Overall, the immune system does a remarkable job of defending us against disease-causing micro-organisms, but sometimes it fails…
Unfortunately, germs invade successfully and make you sick. You’re familiar with an apple a day keeps the doctor away, which is probably the truth behind it all – your diet plays a massive role in protecting you from toxins and infections. But let’s face it, life is busy, and we don’t eat enough fresh fruits, vegetables and other foods we need to keep ourselves healthy year-round.
We also can’t expect a quick burst of vitamin C from eating an orange or grapefruit or pop a vitamin pill. It doesn’t work that way… So which supplements are you taking to boost your immune system?
Needless to say, consuming nutritious foods and getting enough sleep and exercise are the most important ways to bolster your immune system, but an addition of specific vitamins, minerals, herbs, and other substances can improve immune response and potentially protect you against illness.
So what is that you supplement your body with? Vitamin B, C, or D, zinc, garlic, liquorice, or any of the others we don’t even know about, not to mention, pronounce?! Does this question really matter? Yassss!
Do you know what’s in the bottle?
Just between us, many products that claim to ‘support’ your immune system usually oversell it a bit. Yes, vitamins can help immunity, but vitamin formulations will do little to help you stay healthy if you are healthy already…
Anyways, do you know what’s in the bottle you drink from every morning (or whenever)? We’d sure want to tell you what’s inside ours!
Now, you might say that we’re not comparing apples with apples, but indeed we are! If you exercise regularly, you likely want to be sure you’re getting the most out of it, gaining muscle and strength. A healthy amount of muscle allows you to perform your best during exercise and daily life.
How do you meet maximal muscle gain? Eat more calories than you burn, consume more protein than you break down and an exercise program that is challenging to your muscles – comprehensively, all this ensures that your body, including your immune system, is fighting fit!
